##### PROBLEM FOCUS

As buildings trap heat and air more efficiently, they also trap moisture, which reduces durability, air quality, and comfort. Building materials must regulate moisture together with heat to minimize a building's carbon footprint while ensuring a healthy and comfortable environment for occupants.

##### TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION

Adept produces materials that enhance durability, comfort, and energy efficiency in buildings by passively regulating moisture and humidity. Adept’s patented two-layer technology applies to various products: Adept building wrap with directional vapor control provides superior moisture protection and reduces latent HVAC loads, and Adept interior paint and primer system controls humidity and suppresses mold.
