##### PROBLEM FOCUS

The world’s entire building stock will double by 2060. This growth is equivalent to adding an entire New York City to the planet every 35 days for the next 40 years. If construction continues business as usual, it will consume 60% of the world’s remaining carbon budget.

##### TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION

AE’s technological platform facilitates the monetization of carbon storage and reduction in the built environment. AE’s platform integrates construction design software and embodied carbon accounting tools with a carbon offset exchange platform to accelerate the validation, issuance, digitization, marketing, sale, and monitoring of high-quality, insured carbon offsets. Proceeds from the carbon offsets reduce the green premium associated with climate-friendly building materials.
