Conventional DAC is often too costly, energy- and water-intensive, and difficult to deploy in land, infrastructure, or resource-constrained regions. Beyond Captur addresses these barriers with a simpler, fully electric approach to durable carbon removal.
TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION
Beyond Captur's solution is a fully electric, modular Direct Air Capture (DAC) system based on Electro-Swing Adsorption (ESA). Using redox-active organic electrodes, it captures CO₂ from air and releases it with low-voltage electricity, eliminating the need for high-temperature heat, solvents, or water. This battery-inspired architecture reduces system complexity and supports scalable, durable carbon removal.
