Mining accounts for 7% of GHG emissions and 44% of US chemical pollution. The critical and precious minerals markets are valued at >$1 trillion, but most mineral-containing wastes are landfilled due to the high costs and extensive processes used to separate individual minerals from complex wastes.

##### TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION

ChemFinity uses patented molecular-recognition filter materials that selectively recover critical minerals from dilute, complex waste streams. ChemFinity has demonstrated recovery of over 20 different minerals, achieving performances among the highest reported in extraction capacity, speed, and efficiency. Their low-capex, small-footprint, sorbent filter systems recover critical minerals in one core step, projecting 3x lower costs and 99% lower energy use and carbon emissions compared to mining.
