Cellulose insulation outperforms fiberglass insulation at competitive costs and with carbon-negative benefits today, but dwindling supplies of newsprint threaten the supply chain for conventional cellulose insulation. In addition, conventional cellulose is often dusty and contaminated with plastics and other materials that clog installers' blowing equipment.
