##### PROBLEM FOCUS

 Our new era of electrification will cause an explosive increase in end-of-life lithium-ion batteries within this decade. We are facing a ↑>30% CAGR required recycling capacity and by 2030 there will be over 15m tonnes cumulatively of lithium-ion batteries reaching end-of-life globally. Until now, no one has proven a sustainable recycling process and way to recover critical materials like lithium, nickel, cobalt, and graphite.

##### TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION

 tozero developed its proprietary process based on "Hydrometallurgy" to recycle lithium-ion batteries for the EV Industry and recover critical materials like lithium, nickel, cobalt, and graphite. This will allow us to take old batteries and reintroduce fresh raw materials locally back into the supply chain. Therefore, end-of-life batteries will no longer be toxic waste, but a valuable resource for a sustainable future.
