##### PROBLEM FOCUS

Li ion batteries even today are too expensive and offer insufficient energy density for mass electric mobility adoption. Battery systems can comprise of up to 30% of the total cost of an electric car, and up to 75% of the cost of electric 2 / 3 wheelers, the key solution in developing markets.

##### TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION

Volt14 taps into silicon’s ultra-high performance potential as an anode material for Li ion batteries by using our proprietary material science technology to circumvent silicon’s inherent electrochemical instabilities. Furthermore, Volt14’s solution relies on mature, at-scale validated production processes that eliminates scalability and unit economics uncertainties inherent to other new battery technologies.
