PROBLEM FOCUS

Traditional turbine blades suffer from major pain points: low reliability due to low manufacturing quality, expensive components, zero-recyclability of fiber and/or carbon composite materials, complex logistics, and global value chain dependency (low-cost labour market of China and India).

TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION

ReWind's blade is based around a unique structural steel architecture combined with aluminum fairings that provide an aerodynamic shape. The load-bearing structure is designed to ensure high stiffness and structural integrity compared to conventional composite blades. The first prototype is manufactured in segments and assembled on-site. All materials are fully recyclable.
