Industrial separations are a major bottleneck across critical industries, driving high energy use, high costs, and lost revenue. A significant portion of valuable products is lost because they cannot be cost-effectively separated from complex mixtures using existing technologies. These limitations reduce throughput, increase operating costs, and require expensive pretreatment or energy-intensive processes.
TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION
Membravo’s advanced polymer membranes enable high-performance separations in harsh industrial environments, including high temperatures, pressures, and chemically complex streams. The platform spans gas separations, organic solvent nanofiltration, and aqueous separations.
 
The technology is designed for drop-in integration into existing systems, allowing customers to run low-risk pilot projects and rapidly scale deployment without major infrastructure changes. By improving selectivity and durability under real-world conditions, Membravo enables higher recovery, increased throughput, and more profitable operation of industrial assets.
 
Developed with support from the U.S. Department of Energy, Membravo’s membranes are being deployed across industries including chemicals, helium, semiconductors, energy, water, and critical materials.
