TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION
FSC Technologies has developed an innovative structural technology based on wrapping under tension a concrete element with an FRP roving such as basalt to provide the concrete with reinforcement that is located at the exact location of the highest tensile stresses and thus needing less reinforcing for the same performance. This technology also imparts a very high level of flexural strength which steel does not. The FRP is less expensive, does not corrode, and is more fire resistant than steel.
