The production of materials accounts for approximately 45% of GHG emissions. A large part of these emissions is on account of highly polluting processes like mining, smelting, and kiln firing.
TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION
NoPo makes SWCNTs and its derivatives which are used for high energy density batteries, electronics, polymers, elastomers, textiles, membranes and others. The nanotubes are used in very small quantities to give these applications conductivity, high tensile strength, better energy efficiency, and cycle life - replacing high emission materials. NoPo makes use of carbon monoxide that can be produced from captured carbon dioxide to produce high quality nanotubes.
